There is 9 different steps you need to pass in order to complete tech.
1. Weight
2. Turning
3. Vehicle Dimensions
4. Seat Belts
5. Visibility
6. Brakes
7. Time to Exit (need to be out of the car in 10 seconds)
8. Design check
9. Fuel System
Each one has very specific specifications that need to be met. They knew them before building the cars.
