Upcoming fundraising opportunities.

*Checks can be sent to the Alden-Conger School P.O. Box 99 Alden, MN  56009.  Please put Supermileage in the memo line.  If you need a form for your taxes please contact any team member or Janet at the school.

*Now through May 20th - Timeline t-shirts for sale.  $15 for all sizes up to XL.  Larger sizes has an additional charge.  Order forms may be picked up at the school or they are online at the Alden-Conger school website.

*Tuesday, May 17 - we will be selling water and gatorade at track and field.  And possible Papa Murphy's pizzas again!

*Saturday, May 21 - Expressway will be donating 10 cents of every gallon of gas and diesel fuel sold.  The kids will be pumping fuel and washing windows.  They are also donating all proceeds of all deli items sold- this includes pizza, chicken, sandwiches, and donuts.  They have also donated 4 Twins tickets to be raffled off!  They are lower level seats.  The raffle will be held at 2:00 and you do not need to be present to win!  Second place will be 4 tickets to Back to the 50's Car show held at the MN State Fairgrounds in June donated by KATE radio.  Tickets can be purchased from any team member or at the day of the gas and diesel sales.

*Thursday, May 26 - Burger Basket night at the Conger Liquor Store.  $7 will get you a hamburger or cheeseburger and fries or onion rings.  This will be held from 5 - 9 p.m.

*There will be more information coming on a Schwan's fundraiser.

*And we are still working on some plans with TB3's in Freeborn.

The Alden Legion burger basket night was a success!  THANK YOU so much to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make this evening fun and exciting for our team!  We don't have any totals yet on how many burgers were sold but when Dave left at around 7:30 - 7:45, we were at appx. 381!  We are so thankful to live in such a caring and supportive community!!!  We truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Final results for Brainerd 2016

Electric car (orange) - 1st place! Driver - Riley Petersen. Best run - 7386 mpg. 6 run average - 6970 mpg. Next closest team had 6488 mpg.

Stock car (blue) - 1st place and MN record breaker!!! Drivers - Jacob Songstad (main), Logan Sailor, and Jacob Helland. Best run - 2135 mpg. 6 run average - 1564 mpg. 12 run average - 1120 mpg. Next closest team had 323 mpg.

Modified car (red) - 1st place and MN record breaker!!! Drivers - Isaac Sorensen, Logan Sailor, and Jacob Songstad. Best run - 2480 mpg. 6 run average - 1353 mpg. Nest closest team had 487 mpg. We broke the record that was from 2000.

So we won 1st place in all 3 cars we brought up and broke state records with 2 of them! This was the first year of the team competing with an electric car!

Our community support has been so amazing! Our local businesses have so supportive even though I am sure they get asked to donate every time there is a fundraiser! They have contacted us and wanted to do these things for us! We are so thankful!!!

The ladies are up bright and early and helping out in the timing booth. It is raining here, it is supposed to clear off around 11ish so hopefully we can get some more runs in!

Electric car (orange) has their 6 runs completed and their average is 6,783 mpg...yes I typed right!!! Their best run was 7,386 mpg. The next closest is 6,488 mpg.

Modified car (red) has a 6 run average of 1,333 mpg. This is up from earlier!!! The next closest is 487 mpg.

Stock car (blue) has a 6 run average of 1,498 mpg. This is up A LOT from earlier. The next closest is 323 mpg.

As of now, we have broken 2 Minnesota state records!!!

2 cars are done for the night and the last one is just finishing up!
